Breastfeeding DVD available online
The Ministry of Health has uploaded its "Breastfeeding Naturally" DVD to youtube. This informative series includes interviews with breastfeeding mums about their realities. You can also observe good positioning and signs of a good latch. Learn more about the goodness of breastfeeding and the importance of skin-to-skin contact at birth. Click this link to start:

I also have several copies of this DVD for you to watch at home too. Please ask for one at your appointment. If they are all on loan at the time I will try to have one for you by your next appointment. After watching this DVD we can chat further about preparing to feed, and what to expect from your baby. We can also pull out our newborn sized doll and start practicing how to position you and your baby. Nothing beats practical learning! :-)
